Overview

Support staff employees play in integral role at Manheim Township School District.  Without the help, dedication and expertise of our support staff employees, the school district could not continue to operate as a first-class district.

MTSD has a desire to honor our support staff who go above and beyond to ensure the school district meets our goals and continues the mission of the Manheim Township School District.

If you know of a support staff employee whose efforts and enthusiasm are exemplary, one who "goes the extra mile" for the school district, co-workers or students, and someone who is truly making a difference, then nominate that employee for the Support Staff Employee of the Month Award.  Winning staff members will receive recognition for their outstanding service to our district.

Guidelines

Nomination Guidelines

  • A nominee must be a permanent classified or confidential employee at Manheim Township School District.
  • Support Staff employees may be nominated many times, however will only receive the award once a year.
  • Nominations will remain on file for one year from the month it was submitted.
  • Nominations must be made in writing, and submitted online or emailed to the superintendent’s office (Attn: Support Staff of the Month Nomination).
  • Anonymous nominations will not be considered.
  • Awards will be presented at the monthly school board meeting.

Application Process

  • Application must in writing, with direct answers to the questions below.
  • Applications must be submitted online, or emailed to the Superintendent’s Office.
  • Applications will be accepted throughout the calendar year.
  • A rotating committee of administrative staff review the nominations each month.
  • All nominations remain on file throughout the school year.

Who Can Nominate an Employee?

Any colleague, student, community member, or parent can nominate a support staff employee.

Nomination materials may be submitted, at any time, throughout the calendar year.
